Perolers Street, inheritance from medieval professions

The work of the craftsmen known as perolers or calderers, or coppersmiths, consisted in making not just the boiling pots and saucepans suggested by their names, but also a lot of the vessels made from forged or beaten copper that were common in the kitchens of many houses in days gone by: frying pans, cooking pots, large cooking vessels, marmites, clay jugs, other types of jugs, and so on.
